The Digital Agency of Japan and the Kingdom of Belgium has signed the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) .

On December 5, 2022, KONO Taro, Minister for Digital Transformation, had a meeting with Mathieu Michel, State Secretary for Digitization, in charge of Administrative Simplification, Privacy and Buildings Administration added to the Prime Minister, has signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Digital Agency of Japan and the Federal Public Service for Policy and Support (BOSA)of the Kingdom of Belgium in the Field of Information Communication Technology and Digital Transformation.

The purpose of the memorandum is for Japan and the Kingdom of Belgium’s Federal Public Service Agency to build a cooperative relationship in the digital field, specifically eID & eWallet, Cross-border interoperability, Privacy & data, Green IT, Vision for a Digital Garden City Nation / Smart City, New technologies: IoT and robotics.
